Meal Plan

_Last updated: 2026-04-21 via meal planner refresh_

Planning rules

  • Plan 2 days at a time.
  • Suggest breakfast, lunch, and dinner for each day.
  • Mention ingredient risk if anything may be low or missing.
  • Mention prerequisite actions early enough to execute them.
  • Keep the plan conservative when inventory evidence is weak.

Current 2-day plan

Day 1 — 2026-04-22

  • Breakfast: Methi paratha + egg bhurji

- Why it fits: uses the freshest anchors, methi, atta, and eggs.

- Ingredient risk: medium for eggs, onion, and tomato, low for methi and atta.

- Prereq reminder: re-check onion and tomato before cooking, and keep green chilli ready if you want the bhurji a bit sharper.

- Confidence: High.

  • Lunch: Palak paneer + rice

- Why it fits: palak and rice are the safest current lunch anchors, paneer is still the best medium-confidence backup.

- Ingredient risk: low for palak and rice, medium for paneer.

- Prereq reminder: confirm paneer before starting, and if paneer looks shaky, fall back to rice + egg bhurji.

- Confidence: Medium.

  • Dinner: Dosa + coconut chutney + egg bhurji

- Why it fits: batter and coconut were recently confirmed, so this uses live stock instead of guessing.

- Ingredient risk: low-to-medium for batter and coconut, medium for eggs.

- Prereq reminder: do not leave dosa batter to the last minute, and keep chutney ingredients ready.

- Confidence: High.

Day 2 — 2026-04-23

  • Breakfast: Aloo paratha + egg bhurji

- Why it fits: aloo and atta are still the safest breakfast base, and eggs keep it from becoming all-carb.

- Ingredient risk: low for aloo and atta, medium for eggs and onion.

- Prereq reminder: keep onion ready. If onion is weak, simplify to egg bhurji + roti.

- Confidence: High.

  • Lunch: Arhar dal + rice + egg bhurji

- Why it fits: this stays pantry-safe, follows the dal rule, and keeps a protein source in the meal.

- Ingredient risk: low for rice, medium for dal and eggs.

- Prereq reminder: re-check eggs before committing. Do not assume a second egg batch if the day runs long.

- Confidence: Medium.

  • Dinner: Kadhi + roti + egg bhurji

- Why it fits: dahi or matha keeps kadhi viable, roti is stable, eggs cover protein.

- Ingredient risk: medium for dahi/matha and eggs, low for roti.

- Prereq reminder: keep dahi or matha ready. If that is missing, skip kadhi and use roti + egg bhurji.

- Confidence: Medium.

Tonight / early-morning prerequisite reminders

  • Re-check onion, tomato, eggs, paneer, dahi, and matha before locking meals.
  • If you want chole or rajma later, confirm stock first, then soak 6–8 hours ahead.
  • If you want shami kabab, confirm ingredients 5–6 hours before meal time and soak chana dal for 3 hours.
  • Keep dosa batter and coconut close to the front of the queue so they do not get forgotten.

Grocery watchlist / likely low or missing

  • Keep the watchlist grounded in GROCERY_INVENTORY.md.
  • Fresh and recently used items should be reviewed first.
  • Paneer remains the main medium-confidence backup.
  • Do not invent exact counts from thin air.
  • Keep chole and rajma off-plan until stock is directly reconfirmed.
