Meal Plan

_Last updated: 2026-04-01 late-night planner run_

Planning rules

  • Plan 2 days at a time.
  • Suggest breakfast, lunch, and dinner for each day.
  • Mention ingredient risk if anything may be low or missing.
  • Mention prerequisite actions early enough to execute them.

Current plan

Day 1

  • Breakfast: Egg bhurji

- Why: eggs and tomato were seen recently, and masalas are confirmed in stock.

- Ingredient risk: onion is almost out, so use sparingly or skip if needed.

  • Lunch: Arhar dal + rice + egg bhurji (if eggs remain)

- Why: dal suggestions should default to arhar dal, and dal meals are better paired with rice plus a protein source.

- Ingredient risk: rice is still not explicitly confirmed; eggs may already be partly used by breakfast.

  • Dinner: Kadhi + rice + papad

- Why: matha is available, papad is available, and matha can replace dahi for kadhi.

- Ingredient risk: rice is still not explicitly confirmed in the latest pantry correction.

Day 2

  • Breakfast: Aloo paratha

- Why: aloo is confirmed in stock and this avoids the items known to be out.

- Ingredient risk: atta / wheat is still not explicitly reconfirmed in the latest pantry correction.

  • Lunch: Arhar dal + rice

- Why: grounded pantry meal using confirmed dal stock.

- Ingredient risk: rice is still not explicitly reconfirmed; if rice is low, swap toward roti/paratha only if atta is confirmed.

  • Dinner: Rajma + rice or Chole + rice only after refill

- Why: both are household staples but currently almost out, so this is more of a post-refill option than a confident recommendation for tomorrow.

- Ingredient risk: rajma and chole are both low enough that this should probably wait for reorder.

Grocery watchlist / likely missing or unconfirmed

  • Seen recently and likely in stock: milk, eggs, tomato, masala peanuts, instant coffee, aloo, lehsun / ginger-garlic base, matha, papad, masalas, rice flour, corn flour, toor dal, mung dal, chilka dal, chana dal
  • Most urgent re-check items: onion, rajma, chole / chickpeas
  • Likely out: dahi, chicken, fish, dosa batter, coconut
  • Still worth confirming explicitly: rice, atta / wheat, coriander, oil, egg count after breakfast use

Open questions / missing data

  • Need more grocery screenshots over time to estimate reorder frequency confidently.
  • Need direct confirmation of which pantry staples are usually always available vs need active tracking.
  • Chole and rajma both require 6-8 hour soak reminders before they appear in the plan.
  • Shami kabab needs a stronger advance reminder: 5-6 hours before the meal for ordering/confirmation, with 3 hours soaking inside that window.
  • This plan is intentionally conservative because current inventory evidence is still sparse.
